On Wednesday, November 13th, NightShift Street Ministries, in partnership with the Greater Vancouver Home Builders’ Association, will launch a Builders Breakfast Forum. If you are an industry leader involved in developing, building, renovating or selling homes, you won’t want to miss out hearing how Kent Sillars, President of Vesta Properties, builds for success. Vesta Properties built two homes in 2000. By 2011 there were 300 Vesta properties in BC and Alberta. By 2015 there will be 400 – all in communities currently being developed in Greater Calgary and here in the Fraser Valley. When Kent shares how his business has grown, he will also share his company’s philosophy on giving:
“Being socially responsible in helping others along our road to success somehow seemed to fuel our growth. The more we gave, the more business seemed to come in the door.” (Kent Sillars)
During its incredible growth, Vesta has always maintained a policy of giving back in every community it develops. Kent firmly believes that growing a profitable business while maintaining a high level of social responsibility is not only compatible, but highly achievable. Discover how:
- Corporate Social Responsibility, in partnership with an established non-profit, can drive your exposure and increase your bottom-line while raising dollars for the non-profit’s cause.
- Cause Marketing can enhance your company’s reputation in the eyes of your buyers when a feel-good story goes viral.
