Our Easter Dinners in 2023

NightShift Street Ministries’ 5th Annual Easter celebration meals filled not only plates and bellies, but also hearts.

Sharing the Easter meal with friends who are experiencing homelessness, poverty, addiction and mental illness, is more than upholding a tradition – it’s an opportunity to rejoice together in the hope of Jesus.

Volunteers and staff shared a welcoming space of  belonging, along with a full ham dinner, chocolate treats and coffee gift cards for over 100 vulnerable friends in Surrey and around 70 in Langley.  In Surrey, the Easter meal was served inside, with live worship music.

We are grateful for the compassionate care from NightShift’s volunteers, donors and our Easter Dinner sponsors, who made this year’s celebration possible. You helped create an atmosphere full of joy, warmth and gratitude. Through your generosity, many people in the NightShift neighbourhood felt the miracle of human connection and God’s saving grace. Thank you for being a vital part of our community and for helping make a positive impact in the lives of those we serve.
