Building relationships at NightShift

NightShift is in the building business, too. We have been developing relationships with hurting and homeless people in the Lower Mainland since 2004. We do this by providing a nightly meal outreach; emergency nursing and counselling from our mobile Care Bus; weekly afternoon drop-in programs; referrals, ongoing counselling and contact.

We have also built lasting relationships with leaders in the home building industry over the years. Their generosity has been foundational to our outreach and daily operations. From service to financial support – we deeply value our relationships with home builders, related trades and suppliers.

Home Builders Care

With the help of our home-building friends in Metro Vancouver and Fraser Valley, in 2013 we started our Home Builders Care (HBC) program to reach more hurting and homeless people with love, hope and purpose.

There are several ways the HBC program helps you care for those without a home. From financial support, to fun events and industry networking opportunities, to volunteer service and behind-the-scenes help, you choose your company’s level of involvement. With your help, we will continue to build meaningful friendships with people on the street, and see miraculous changes in their lives.

1. Attend one of our events – or host one with us.  This one is easy AND fun.

2. Serve with us! Be transformed as you help with your hands.

3. Encourage employees to get involved. Watch morale soar as employees help those in need.

4. Invite our Taste of Heaven food truck to feed your crews, teams and events. Not only is the food heavenly, the cause will put your teams on Cloud Nine!
