Counselling, care and more

by NightShift

In the spirit of Isaiah 61: 1-3a “He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, …”

March will see us open our Care Bus doors to people living in poverty and often without a permanent address, who are in need of a safe place to seek basic counselling, to access a referral system and to participate in prayer. The greater vision for The Care Bus is to also provide basic medical and dental services to our homeless friends. We welcome doctors, nurses, dentists and dental hygienists, who are interested in sharing their time and talents with this valuable resource, to meet with us for a vision-casting session on Wednesday, March 2, at 7-9 pm.

In addition to street outreach, The Care Centre provides regular day-time counselling to anyone in need of support at our new offices on King George Boulevard. In celebration of how far we have come so far in our Care Project vision, we invite local Pastors and Church Leaders to tour our new facilities and join us for lunch on Wednesday, March 9, at noon. Please contact me on 604-953-1154  or email val @ thecarecentre.org if you have any questions or wish to join us for either of these dates.
