We currently have two openings to join our staff team at NightShift:

VOLUNTEER SERVICES COORDINATOR

Do you love overseeing and organizing big teams, bringing people together, celebrating the value of others, and keeping people focussed on a task? If you are nodding your head enthusiastically right now, we just might have a job for you at NightShift Street Ministries! We are looking for a Volunteer Services Coordinator (VSC) to assist in our outreach programs and coordinate volunteer services.

Our Christian faith-based ministry reaches out, 365 days a year, to people on the street who are struggling with homelessness, addiction, mental illness and poverty. We couldn’t do this without the help of so many people. Our VSC will rally volunteer troops, keeping them engaged, equipped and committed.

The VSC will work with volunteers from local churches, businesses, community groups and everyday folk who care about people. NightShift works in the thick of serious neighbourhood issues, and we are looking for a VSC who is emotionally healthy, energetic, able to engage with people of diverse backgrounds, and ready to jump in and roll up their sleeves to get the work done.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

NightShift Street Ministries is looking for an Executive Assistant (EA) to join our team.

The EA will provide administrative support to NightShift’s Founder and President. The EA will manage and maintain active schedules and appointments, organize meetings, verbal and written communications, filing, and travel arrangements. The role will assist in research and preparation for special reports, speeches, and presentations.

Our Christian faith-based ministry works with all kinds of amazing people – from corporate executives, government and law enforcement, to volunteers and the church community. Most importantly, we reach out to people on the street, 365 days a year, who are struggling with homelessness, mental illness, addiction and poverty. NightShift works in the thick of serious neighbourhood issues, and we are looking for an EA who is emotionally healthy, energetic, well read in community issues and able to jump in and roll up their sleeves alongside our Founder and President.
