Clothing Donations

Sleeping rough, open to the elements, nowhere to keep your belongings … the daily hardship of those with no permanent roof over their heads is what we seek to lessen.

One aspect of what we do is to provide a clean change of clothing, warm blankets and care products, to help our friends living in poverty or on the streets of Surrey survive another night.

NightShift accepts and manages clothing donations on behalf of those in need. Every night at 7 pm, our clothing van is open to anyone in need of a clean pair of jeans, a warm hoodie or jacket, fresh underwear and socks, tops and shoes, or just a dry blanket. At this time of year the items most in demand are winter jackets, boots, scarves, gloves and warm blankets. Here’s a full list of clothes and care products we are happy to accept at the centre. Or maybe you are close to one of our Clothing Drop-Off bins? This is where they are currently placed in the community:

We are also happy to accept donations of all new or nearly new clothes for Sisters, our Thrift Boutique, where all net proceeds go to NightShift. Our volunteers sort and disperse clothes suitable for street use first and everything else is coordinated for our store or for shipment to other needy causes, both locally and internationally.
