Not just chocolate hearts

This morning I had the lovely opportunity to chat with a roomful of Grade 1 children at Southridge School. The children had made some cards and baked cookies to distribute to our street friends on Valentine’s Day. In return I was able to hand out chocolate hearts from NightShift. Sharing a moment of sweetness with three dozen 6-year-olds was such a blessing, and a reminder of the unconditional love that is at the heart of the NightShift mission. As my own son is about to enter university, this day really highlighted for me how quickly our children grow and how precious such encounters are. Happy Valentine’s Day! Ingrid Roeske Good
