NightShift 2019

Here at NightShift, we believe in celebrating milestones – and 15 years in ministry is no small feat! In 2019, we celebrated the 15^th anniversary of NightShift, and threw a big party in our outreach lot.

We didn’t just want to celebrate among staff; in true NightShift fashion we wanted to welcome our entire community to the party. We invited our volunteers, donors, community supporters and our friends from the neighbourhood to gather in our outreach lot for an afternoon of music, games, Taste of Heaven gourmet sausages and birthday cake.

At NightShift, we see every passing year as a blessing, and making it to 15 was a big one for us. We were filled with gratitude for the 15 years of opportunities, challenges and experiences that had shaped us into the ministry we have today.

With the number of people that showed up to celebrate, we were reminded of the love and support we receive from our community.

Milestones like these are more than just reaching numbers and meeting goals. They represent our collective efforts, passion and commitment to serving those in our neighbourhood who are in need of a little extra love, hope and purpose. Milestones act as a checkpoint in our journey, reminding us of the progress we’ve made, the lessons we’ve learned and the relationships we have built along the way.

During this 15^th year celebration, we reflected on our gratitude for everyone who had been a part of NightShift’s story. As we look back today, we are still in awe of the outstanding network of compassionate, caring people we have around us. Together we have made all these years meaningful and we are looking forward to many more.
