Holiday celebration dinners are an important part of community life at NightShift Street Ministries.
When we celebrate together, it’s about more than upholding traditions. It’s about gathering together, to share hope, joy, and the value of humanity. And there no better holiday to celebrate that than Easter!
During our special 2021 Easter Dinner, NightShift volunteers came together, over three nights, to serve a hot ham dinner and all the fixings, chocolate treats and gifts to more than 225 friends in Surrey and Langley, struggling with homelessness, poverty, addiction and mental illness.
It’s the care and compassion of NightShift’s volunteers, donors, and our Easter Dinner financial sponsors that make our holiday celebrations possible. You help provide life-changing support!
Because of our community of support, many people in the NightShift neighbourhood felt the miracle of human connection and God’s incredible saving grace. Please join us in praying for our friends in need on the streets.
The COVID-19 crisis has changed how we do outreach. With care and concern for all in our neighbourhoods, NightShift has modified its procedures to respect physical distancing and keep everyone safe.
