Langley Immanuel Christian
Reformed Church Cares
Serving means being the hands and feet of Jesus.
It was the spring of 1986, and Murrayville was a growing Langley neighbourhood. A handful of people in the area felt God calling them to start a new church community. By October of that same year, Langley Immanuel Christian Reformed Church was established as a fully operational place of worship. Langley Immanuel CRC is dedicated to their mission: to gather in the body of Christ, to grow together in love and community, and to go on missions together for the glory of God, both locally and globally.
Serving others is deeply important to Langley Immanuel CRC. To them, serving means being the hands and feet of Jesus. By simply reaching out and embracing those in need, we can reveal Jesus’s character to those around us.
Langley Immanuel CRC’s heart for service moved them to become involved with NightShift Street Ministries. They began serving with NightShift in January 2013 when a care group from the church decided they wanted to get involved in local missions. The passion for service this care group had, ended up spilling out into the rest of the church body. As a result, the congregation began getting actively involved with NightShift.
Langley Immanuel CRC has blessed the NightShift community not only through financial support, but also through gifts-in-kind and volunteer service. NightShift is so grateful for their continued support. Thank you!
