Sharing hope, peace, love and joy this Christmas
As we prepare for winter, and for Christmas at NightShift Street Ministries, our hearts are turned towards our friends on the street, struggling with homelessness, poverty, addiction, mental illness and loneliness. During Advent, we consider Hope, Peace, Love and Joy. At NightShift, we reached out to a few of our friends on the street to ask what those topics mean to them. You will find their stories, so generously shared, here.
This Christmas, give the gift of helping those in need find hope, peace, love and joy. It starts with soup.
Your generous donation helps NightShift continue reaching out, 365 nights a year, with a hot meal, safe community and prayer, along with weekly drop-in programs, basic clothing, counselling and emergency nursing. Donations of more than $20 will receive a tax receipt.
Spending of funds is confined to NightShift Board approved programs and projects. Each contribution directed toward an approved program or project will be used as restricted with the understanding that when the need for such a program or project has been met, or cannot be completed for any reason as determined by NightShift, the remaining restricted contributions will be used where most needed.
