Food and Supplies

It’s hard to think straight when you’re hungry. When you’re surviving on instinct rather than nourishment, life is hard.

By regularly serving a warm meal, at the same time every night of the year, our NightShift outreach volunteers provide a little consistency and encouragement for those in need. Every night, a team of volunteers prepares food in a Fraser Health approved facility, often in one of our supporting church’s kitchens. The food is delivered to our mobile kitchen and served from 7 pm onwards at 10635 King George Boulevard.

The majority of food and supplies is donated by individuals, groups or local businesses – without their help, we would not be able to provide around 30,000 meals a year.

If you can spare
a tin of tuna
or some canned mushroom soup,
a box of hot chocolate
or a tub of coffee creamer,
a package of pasta
or a jar of peanut butter,
please consider donating it to NightShift for the purpose of feeding our friends living in poverty or on the streets of Surrey. Here is a list of items that we would gladly take off your hands.

If you would like to support a food drive at your organization or church, we can provide food boxes, a display and information. Please contact us if you have any questions.
