I am glad there is something for these to fill the time and be helped. Salt on the Street only goes out Saturday night. They have a truck and move out clothes and food. They get quite the mass of folks. woman and children come first. then it is all men.

Hi there, I have been wanting to give back to my community for some time now. I was born and raised in White Rock, and have also raised three sons here. I am interested in volunteering my time to help out where needed. I am interested in working with the youth of our community , but will help out wherever I can. I read an article in the Peace Arch News on MaryAnne Connor, and I think she is remarkable in her quest to help others. Thank you, look forward to hearing back from you.

Thank you for sharing this encouraging note. We have a team that does the same thing each Tuesday night in our home city, and what a blessing it is to see Jesus working in people’s lives. Out of the 6 games we played this past Saturday in North Vancouver, The team won 5 tied 1. NightShift Street Ministries Soccer Team got 3 SHUTOUTS! We played awesome.

Charis will be sadly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. I am so thankful I was able to see Charis at our Mom’s Memorial in August. Charis and her father, Tim, drove all the way from Surrey BC to Stony Plain, AB to attend. We were so pleased to see them both. I feel so blessed to have known Charis.
