Hi there, I have been wanting to give back to my community for some time now. I was born and raised in White Rock, and have also raised three sons here. I am interested in volunteering my time to help out where needed. I am interested in working with the youth of our community , but will help out wherever I can. I read an article in the Peace Arch News on MaryAnne Connor, and I think she is remarkable in her quest to help others. Thank you, look forward to hearing back from you.

Thank you for sharing this encouraging note. We have a team that does the same thing each Tuesday night in our home city, and what a blessing it is to see Jesus working in people’s lives. I forwarded this to each of our team members to bless them and encourage them as well. Out of the 6 games we played this past Saturday in North Vancouver, The team won 5 tied 1. NightShift Street Ministries Soccer Team got 3 SHUTOUTS! We played awesome.

Charis will be sadly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. I am so thankful I was able to see Charis at our Mom’s Memorial in August. Charis and her father, Tim, drove all the way from Surrey BC to Stony Plain, AB to attend. We were so pleased to see them both. I feel so blessed to have known Charis.

Grandparents expect to leave a legacy to their grandchildren. As Charis’s paternal grandmother she has left a treasured legacy to me…..the model of simple faith In Our Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour, the Bible as the Word of God to be followed, our lives to be laid down for others. Continuing your great work would be her influencing legacy.
